Jane Raymond, Style Sister Studio My line of purses was inspired one day while strolling through a vintage fabric store where a beautiful shade of burnt umber caught my eye. I could not get images of burnt umber, turquoise, and mustard Naugahyde out of my head. I later returned to the store with my mother's words ringing in my ears: "Trust what inspires you!" I have not been able to pry myself from my sewing machine since. My love of architecture, design and creation with color has given me the inspiration to create simple and balanced handbags.
Lis, Harlo Kids
harlo fashions are infused with a distinctly European sensibility. Born in the US, Lis spent 17 years in Switzerland and traveling abroad. After studying fashion in New York city she spent 10 years in Los Angeles styling wardrobe for feature films and television commercials. In designing clothing for her own two girls, Lis now brings an undeniable urban-chic to children's wear from a palette of color and materials that are decidedly down-to-earth.
Peri, Peri's Ponchos It all began with one hand sewn poncho made for a little girl by her mom. Soon every child in the little girl's preschool wanted one and the schoolyard quickly became full of spinning colorful ponchos. The mom, encouraged by her friends, began creating more and more designs until it became obvious that a business had been born. That was in 2003. Since then peri has been wrapping Pacific Northwest children in whimsical and warm ponchos. We are a company dedicated to delighting kids, their parents, and grandparents with children's clothing that is both practical and fun to wear.
